COEDC Releases 2018 Regional Economic Profile and 5 Sector Profile Reports

In an effort to keep the public and business community informed on the economy of the region, The Regional District of Central Okanagan’s Economic Development Commission (COEDC) – the region’s primary business resource – commissioned a 2018 Central Okanagan Economic Profile and 5 Sector Profiles: Agriculture / Viticulture, Animation / Film / Digital Media, Healthcare, Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and Manufacturing / Aerospace.

Commissioned by the COEDC and completed in collaboration with MDB Insight these resources communicate the strengths and opportunities of the communities and economic clusters of the Central Okanagan region supporting the COEDC and its regional partners to better promote the area in their efforts to drive economic growth.

The project was funded with matching funding from Global Affairs Canada as the Economic and Sector Profiles for the Central Okanagan serve as tools to support the Region’s efforts to support local business needs and attract investment to the region.

The 2018 Central Okanagan Economic Profile provides a comprehensive overview of the economic ecosystem of the Central Okanagan. Covering socio-economic and essential business information about the Region as a whole as well as highlighting each of the seven member communities the profile is a strategic asset for promoting the Region.
