DESCRIPTION:On May 30th 2024\, CICE is launching a province-wide call for wildfire technology innovation in response to the surges in forest fires that are fueling record global emissions and threatening the prosperity and well-being of our communities. Up to $3 million in non-dilutive investment will be awarded to innovators across B.C. that are commercializing solutions related to wildfire prevention\, mitigation\, and adaptation. Together\, we can leverage B.C.’s strengths in sustainable forestry\, wildfire research\, traditional land management practices\, and a thriving cleantech hub to accelerate wildfire management for ’21st century’ fire advancements.
