Presented by the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce

Just how well is the City’s economy performing relative to other global cities? Numerous local organizations have been collaborating over the past year on the development of a regional Economic Scorecard for Kelowna that looks at key economic indicators and compares the City to similar regional centres around the globe.

Join officials from the City, Okanagan College, UBCO and the Chamber for the results of the first ever Scorecard.

The Scorecard identifies areas where the community is doing well and areas for performance improvement. The report compares the Kelowna region to about a dozen similar centres from Canada, the United States and around the world. A large Stakeholder committee has assisted in the research, data collection and assimilation of reporting for over a year in what is planned to be a periodically recurring report.

The City’s Director of Business and Entrepreneurial Development, Robert Fine will lead the group revealing the results and highlighting next steps.

Robert Fine, Director of Business Development, City of Kelowna
