As Kelowna and the Okanagan Region continues to grow and respond to changes related to COVID-19 as well as demographic, economic, political and other shifts, what lessons can the principles of Vancouverism offer to this growing region?
Vancouverism is an urban and architectural phenomenon in Vancouver characterized by tall slim towers for density, widely separated by low-rise buildings for light, air, and views. It means many parks, walkable streets, and public spaces, combined with an emphasis on sustainable forms of transit.
Join Larry and Randy for a conversation moderated by Lauren about Vancouverism including what worked well and what are some cautionary tales that Kelowna and the Okanagan region can learn from. Please come with your questions for the Q&A session.
