The provincial Ministry of Health provides a vast amount of information regarding our provincial health care system including how to apply for coverage under the Medical Services Plan, Health Insurance BC, PharmaCare, Home and Community Care and more.

Interior Health is the regional authority responsible for the Interior of British Columbia including the Central Okanagan. Their website has a variety of information including a searchable database for finding a physician, specialist, dentist or chiropractor, home and community care information.

Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) is the Central Okanagan’s primary acute care health facility and high-level, specialty medical care. The state-of-the-art Interior Heart and Surgical Centre, enhances KGH’s ability to provide superior intensive cardiac, perinatal and surgical care in the Interior of British Columbia.

Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre for the Southern Interior is an outpatient cancer care facility with 220 staff providing cancer research, education, prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
