What organization are you from and what is your role?

I am President & CEO of GreenStep Solutions Inc.

What excites you about the future of your respective sector?

The future is green! I am excited about watching the amazing advances in the cleantech sector, as many companies work to tackle climate change and other critical environmental issues through technology, while also working with nature to restore and regenerate the ecosystems that we depend upon for clean air, clean water, healthy food, and a liveable climate.

Why is participating in the Advisory Council important to you?

I have called Kelowna home for over 30 years, and this community has been so good to me, my family and my business. It is a privilege and an honour to give back now, through providing my expertise to help inform the region’s future economic growth and priorities.

Why do love living and working in the Okanagan?

The lifestyle is incredible. As outdoor recreation enthusiasts my family and I can hike, bike, paddle, ski, snowboard and garden my heart out! There are so many great schools and programs for the children, and a vibrant arts and culture community to enjoy. As an entrepreneur, the Okanagan has such an incredible network of mentors, incubators and accelerators, and other entrepreneurs with whom to celebrate successes and work through challenges.
